
Volkswagen continues to hold its own in the U.S. market. As many of VW’s competitors face steeper sales declines , the German automaker is continuing to focus on its new product offensive. This includes updates to the GTI for 2009, as well as the recently released Tiguan crossover. In addition to these and other all-new models, VW is riding high in the U.S. with the help of sales of the all-new CC four-door coupe. The new sedan has already outsold the Golf and the New Bettle, currently making it one of the automaker’s most popular models.With styling and refinement that puts the CC on par with higher-end models from European and Japanese competitiors, the new CC continues to shine in the wake of the Phaeton flop and the slow selling Passat.
