Behind the wheel of a highly modified Suzuki SX4, Nobuhiro “Monster” Tajima took the crown at the recent Pikes Pike International Hill Climb. Traversing the 5,000-ft increase in elevation in just 10:11.490 was made easier by the twin-turbocharged V6 under the hood which produced an impressive 897 horsepower and 654 pound-feet of torque. Although this vehicle is a far cry from the affordable, all-wheel drive Suzuki SX4 Crossover available to consumers in Suzuki showrooms, this win shows that even despite the automaker’s relatively small size, Suzuki is still committed to making a name for itself in motorsports.
