While the LFA supercar is the most attention-grabbing vehicle to recently emerge from Lexus, the upcoming CT 200h deserves time in the spotlight as well. Furthering Lexus’ dominance in the luxury hybrid segment, the CT 200h is a compact hybrid that offers more aggressive styling than most vehicles in the brand’s lineup, which is expected to help attract younger buyers. But if that isn’t enough, Lexus is also launching a new interactive film series called the “Dark Ride,” featuring actor Norman Reedus. According to Lexus, the series is a cross between Knight Rider and The Bourne Identity, but its “choose your own adventure” theme is certainly one of the most unique aspects of this online saga.
“Dark Ride” made its debut on YouTube on Friday. Find more on the series on the Dark Ride website. Look for the all-new 2011 Lexus CT 200h compact hybrid in showrooms early next year.
