Pop star Just Timberlake was originally believed to have been working on several commercials for the all-new Audi A1. However, it turns out that JT is actually starting in a short film series for the A1′s launch, starring alongside actress Dania Ramirez. Also featuring a cherry red A1 hatchback, these films appear to have the same style and action of BMW’s “The Hire” series from 2001.
The Audi A1 is set to go on sale in Europe late this year. Its competition includes the BMW 1 Series, MINI Cooper, and the Fiat 500. Power is supplied by a lineup of gasoline and diesel engines producing between 84 horsepower and 122 horsepower. With a seven-speed S tronic tradition, the A1 will yield as much as 62 miles per gallon.
