The sporty 2011 Nissan Juke crossover will go on sale in October starting from $18,960. Combining the aggressive styling and driving dynamics of a sports car with a raised ground height, improved visibility, and confident stance, the Juke is expected to make a big impact in the crowded compact crossover segment. Powering the Juke is a 1.6-liter direct injected and turbocharged engine producing 188 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque. A torque vectoring all-wheel drive system will also be available that not only splits torque up to 50:50 between the front and rear wheels, but can also can split torque from side-to-side across the rear axle. Ultimately, this unique system is expected to enhance the Juke’s cornering capabilities. The innovative Integrated Control (I-CON) system is another technology that will be making its debut on the Juke as well.

And, perhaps best of all, Nissan says fuel economy is rated at 27 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway for front-wheel drive Juke models with the CVT.
