It’s not too often that we discuss Mitsubishi. Sadly, that’s because not much happens at Mitsubishi. The automaker has struggled in the U.S. market in recent years, with the Lancer being their only really competitive product offering. But Mitsubishi remains committed to the U.S. marketing nonetheless, we believe they’ll see some success soon since since the green light has been given to the Mitsubishi RVR compact crossover. Taking inspiration from the cX concept vehicle, the RVR is slightly shorter than the Outlander and will feature a 1.8-liter engine when it’s launched along with diesel options for certain markets. Sales will begin in the spring of 2010 and will following in North America, Europe, and elsewhere in Asia.
