According to Car and Driver, the sporty Mini Paceman has received the green light for production. The publication cites Mini’s Kay Segler as the source of the confirmation.
The Mini Paceman made its official debut at the North American International Auto Show earlier this year. It’s essentially a two-door version of the all-new Countryman crossover, but Mini dubs it a “Sports Activity Coupe” rather than a crossover.
A production model is expected to look strikingly similar to the concept vehicle when it arrives in 2013.
