The Land Rover LRX Concept showed that Land Rover was committed to building a vehicle that was compact, stylish, and fuel-efficient. Amid festivities held today commemorating the brand’s 40th anniversary, Land Rover unveiled the production version of this promising new compact crossover, which is named the Range Rover Evoque. Land Rover will not yet release full details regarding the Evoque until its first official debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. However, it will be arriving in North America in the fall of 2011 and will be marketed as the the smallest, lightest, and most fuel-efficient Range Rover model ever. We foresee this compact crossover to be a bigger success than Land Rover’s current compact model, the lackluster LR2.
