Infiniti has officially set its sights BMW’s M division and Mercedes’ AMG line with the launch of its own performance lineup, creatively named the Infiniti Performance Line. Each vehicle donning the IPL badge will feature distinctive styling and performance upgrades to set them apart from standard offerings. The first model to get the IPL treatment is the G Coupe, which aside from exterior styling embellishments receives a new high-flow exhaust and a recalibrated ECU to raise output to 348 horsepower and 276 pound-feet of torque. Pricing information for this new model has yet to be released. One thing is certain, this new line promises to add performance mods beyond any run-of-the-mill sport package.
