Hyundai made it clear that when designing the all-new Hyundai Genesis Coupe, they used the Infiniti G37 coupe as its muse. The appeal of the 2009 Infiniti G37, seamlessly combining luxury and performance, is not easy to duplicate, but it seems as though Hyundai largely achieved their lofty goal. In a side-by-side comparison, the folks at Edmunds.com recently found that the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 had no problem keeping with the G37. While the Infiniti did offer marginally quicker 0-60 times, and of course offered more posh interior accommodations, it was the Genesis Coupe that came out on top thanks to its superior value, costing two-thirds less than the Infiniti.
