Hyundai has just announced that it will officially bring their flagship sedan, the Hyundai Equus, to the U.S. in late 2010. Measuring 7.2 inches longer than the Genesis sedan, it features the Genesis’ optional 4.6-liter V8 as standard equipment. The sedan may receive a new name when it finally reaches U.S. showrooms, but the real question is the price. Topping out at $42,050, the Hyundai Genesis amazed and impressed many with its surprisingly luxurious appointments and top-notch fit and finish. But if the Equus is priced at $50K+, will buyers still be singing Hyundai’s praises?
