Developing markets are the targets of all automakers due to the burgeoning number of car buyers and due recent economic constraints. Honda’s answer to the needs of drivers in India, Thailand, and other growing auto markets is the New Small Concept. This ultra compact car is a low-cost hatchback that can seat five passengers and should be similar to a vehicle that will reach showrooms in 2011. Although the production version of the Honda New Small Concept will be intended as a global car, it unfortunately may not find its way to the States. Regardless, Honda is confident that this small car will exceed consumer expectations and still remain affordable.
