Toyota hit a massive speed bump when recall after recall left the company’s reputation for quality and safety in tatters. But despite a somewhat tarnished image, Toyota’s business is still moving forward. Toyota’s business is moving forward so well, in fact, that the company just reported a $2.2 billion profit for the fiscal year ending in March. Despite trials and tribulations in the past few months, Toyota’s profits even beat those of the previous year.
Although the financial side of business looks good, the leading Japanese automaker is by no means out of the woods in terms of its reputation and its relationship with customers. However, this just goes to show what some incredible deals and incentives can really do.
