Toyota has long held the title of being the world’s most valuable automotive brand, but with recall after recall tarnishing its image of quality and safety, that title has now gone to BMW. Accord to market research company Millward Brown and its BrandZ Top 100 report, BMW just nudged past Toyota as the top automotive brand for the No. 25 spot. Other non-auto brands on the list including Google, Coca-Cola, and Microsoft.

We expect Toyota to eventually reclaim all that it has lost in the last several months, but is likely still going to take some time to recover after sending out over 10.5 million recall notices world wide since September.
