The Jaguar XF sedan has already helped reinvigorate the Jaguar brand thanks largely to its stunningly beautiful design and posh accommodations. But to attract customers that desire a more sporting edge, Jaguar has introduced the 2010 XFR. This model exchanges some of its feline grace with ferocity thanks to its new direct-injected 5.0-liter V8 complete with a twin-intercooled supercharger. With 510 horsepower and 460 lb. ft. of torque on tap, the XKR rushes to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds and covers the corner mile in 13.1 seconds. Exterior upgrades are modest, but include standard 20-inch wheels, “R” badges, aggressive louvers on the hood, revised front fascia, and bolder side skirts. And for anyone doubting the performance prowess of this new Jag, just take Jeremy Clarkson’s word for it when he says it’s “as good as” the BMW M5. The 2010 Jaguar XFR is on sale now.
