The all-new 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet has finally been unveiled, closely following the unveiling of its hardtop sibling. Unlike its stablemate, the 911 Carrera Cabriolet will feature a lightweight top made of aluminum, magnesium and advanced high strength steel. Engineers have also managed to reduce this model’s weight compared to its predecessor.

Out back, this the 911 convertible features a  3.4-liter flat six engine that produces 350 horsepower. While it may be heavier than the hardtop model, it will still sprint from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds. The latest generation 911 Cabriolet features a longer wheelbase, wider front track, and a host of exciting new features. Although it retains the same thrilling performance of its predecessor, the new model also boasts greater fuel-efficiency.
