Recently, Nissan engineers brought the updated 2012 GT-R back to Germany to take on the Nürburgring once more. Since the 2012 Nissan GT-R boasts 45 more horsepower than its predecessor, not to mention some other performance enhancements, it’s no surprise that it was able to lap the famed circuit in just 7 minutes 26.7 seconds – 2.48 seconds quicker than its processor. To put that figure into perspective, the GT-R is faster around the ‘Ring than a number of notable super cars including the Maserati MC12, Pagani Zonda F Clubsport, Ferrari Enzo, and Porsche Carrera GT.
