Promising a “five-star travel experience,” Infiniti unveiled its all-new 2011 QX56 today at the New York Auto Show. Powered by an updated 5.6-liter V8 engine delivering 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque and mated to a new 7-speed automatic transmission, the new QX provides 25 percent more horsepower and 10 percent better fuel economy than the current 2010 model. Naturally, Infiniti’s flagship SUV is brimming with technology such as the standard Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System, Around View Monitor and Bose 2-channel, 13-speaker Premium Audio System, and available features such as a dual 7-inch color monitor DVD system which allows different sources to be played at the same time – just to name a few of the tech goodies. The all-new 2011 QX56 is also more stylish than before both inside and out, but retains the Infiniti grille, broad shoulders and large greenhouse that have become synonymous with the QX.
